Vale Palmi

The work is inspired by Georges Bataille, French writer and philosopher, who questions the nature of the human being. According to the philosopher, the human body develops on the "mouth-ano axis". 

The axis is thus depicted by the artist, with a reference also to the "scatological sun", the putrid and blinding sun of which Bataille speaks in his texts.

The ostentation of the faecal and anal are part of the artist's research on perpetual abjection.
